With competition which manufacturer serves the next most powerful car in the mid-supercar segment Ferrari comes also along with the actual 488 GTS and shows McLaren´s 675 LT what´s up with the Italians. With more power and increased acceleration than the 458 the customer should be happy but what´s about the dirty beloved V8 sound?
Thanks to Wheelsandmore from Germany the silence is of the past and they designed a perfect visual-acoustic masterpiece.
From now the performance upgrade stage III lifts the 3,9l V8 engine above the F12 stock power. The elegant restraint with its sound is no longer a theme for the aerodynamically perfectly styled supercar from Maranello. As soon as the driver hits the open button of the exhaust valve control the coupe and also the convertible version of the Ferrari 488 is transformed into a brute sound monster. By adapting the software, with catalyst spare tubes and using a F1 air filter kit the German professionals achieve the massive power of 777hp and 895nm of torque.
Transforming the Ferrari 488 GTS into a Wheelsandmore Triple Seven still requires replacing the stock wheels. Due to the ultra-concave designed centers and with center-lock look-a-like caps the Ferrari 488 gets more racetrack characteristics with the new wheel model F.I.W.E. which was finished colored matte black with a polished centerlock cover. On the other side the tuner provides the classic 6Sporz² wheeldesign, which is available also sizing 22 inch on the rear axle.
In 21 inches the wheels rotate at the front axle sizing 9,0×21 inch with 255/30/21 ultra-high performance tires and on the rear axle in stately 12,0×21 inches with maximum wide 325/25/21 barrels from Michelin. The finish of personal taylored wheels is always according to customer´s options in color and surface.
